For the meatballs
- 500g. minced pork
- 1 medium onion
- 200 g. dry bread
- 1 egg medium size
- 1 bunch parsley (chopped)
- Dry oregano
- Salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oi

For the sauce
Put the bread in a bowl of water to soak. Then we press it in our palms to drain the water and we put it in another bowl. We grate the onion, we press it in our palms to drain the excess fluids and we put in the bowl with the bread. We add the minced meat, parsley, egg, olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano. We knead for 2-3 minutes for the ingredients to merge. We put the olive oil in a nonstick frying pan to become hot. We take from the meat mixture small amounts of the size we want and we mold round meatballs.
Roll the meatballs in flour and fry, slightly browned on all sides (about 10 minutes depending on their size). Place them in an ovenproof dish and prepare the tomato sauce. Put the olive oil in a saucepan over high heat and fry the garlic for 1-2 minutes. Pass the tomatoes from the grater. Then add them to the pan along with the sugar, tomato paste, water and finally salt and pepper. Mix and after the boiling point is reached pour over the meatballs and bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
Sliced bread, arugula, tomato, green onion, traditional Apaki KRIVEK 1 cm. thick slices, graviera cheese cut into 8 slices, olive oil, white vinegar, salt, freshly ground pepper.
In a bowl, mix the arugula, the onion, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the vinegar, salt and pepper and leave aside. Meanwhile, toast the bread in the toaster. In a frying pan lightly cook the apaki in its own fat for 2-3 minutes.
Spread olive oil on the slices of bread and place them on a platter. In each slice place the arugula with the onion, 2 slices of tomato, apaki, 2 slices of graviera and some more arugula. Cover with the remaining slices of bread and serve.
